re Poem

N4

Hybrid moralities

rend through this Northern

nest nuzzled

between Piccadilly

and Ancoats...

Distracting vinyl

and garish plastic

displays in off-beat vintage

boutiques, a new cool

dotted along

enduring cobbles...

On pliant breast,

this nipple of Manchester

cityscape titillates

with its neon milk

ducts along streets running off Victoria

station down to Shudehill...

Feeding senses

like a ubiquitous Babylon.

Hmmm, glad to see you've posted some girl!

This is fascinating, I've heard of symbolic meanings in the shape of buildings, but comparing the glamor of city life that closely with titillating milk is a truly interesting comparison.

Your writing has always been fantastic Cath! Great piece!

Great work CM-B!

These lines are gem-like in their lustre:

"On pliant breast,
this nipple of Manchester
cityscape titillates
with its neon milk.."

Very original, very alive.

Bravo!
